H&H Reeds Printers, based in Penrith, are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join their diverse print business. The individual will assist in the manufacture and installation of internal and external signage and graphics using various forms of media and materials. Although the predominant sector of the business is printing, we have seen significant growth within our Signage department. We manufacture, supply and fit all forms of signage including shop frontage, vehicle wraps and graphics, indoor displays and large format displays and art installations.

H&H Reeds Printers have been trading for 140 years and are Cumbria’s largest commercial printer, and one of the best equipped in the North of England. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an exceptional eye for detail, and who takes pride in going that extra mile in ensuring our clients designs are brought to life through precision and attention to detail.

The role encompasses all aspects of manufacture, using various types of materials and machinery including, printers, vinyl cutter and CNC routers.

On almost all occasions, we fit the signs and graphics onsite for our clients, this is done at various locations throughout the United Kingdom, but predominantly Cumbria and surrounding counties.

Our clients vary from design agencies with valuable customers, to clients who require assistance designing their signage product for their business, whether it be a shop sign, vehicle wrap or graphics.

The applicant should be able to converse confidently and politely with our customers, so as to ascertain their full requirements, they should also be competent in using computers and digital devices.

Whilst previous fitting experience is not a necessary requirement of the post, as training will be provided to the successful applicant it would be an advantage to experience in this sector. However, a willingness to learn new skills and a dedication to achieving our customers’ requirements is a necessity.

Successful applicants will be required to start as soon as available.

Salary will be based on experience.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, but as we are a manufacturing company, you may be asked to work weekends and altered hours, offering the opportunity to boost your salary with overtime during busier periods
