Established in 1987, H&H Insurance Brokers have since established themselves as one of the top specialist insurance brokers in the UK, arranging a broad portfolio of insurances for agricultural and rural businesses across Northern England and the Scottish Borders. With a rich heritage in farming, H&H is focused on serving the needs of the agricultural sector.
As part of H&H Insurance Brokers’ (HHIB) growth strategy, the company embarked on an extensive office refurbishment project at its Carlisle head office. The newly renovated design centres around HHIB's brand colours, messaging, and core values. HHIB approached us to produce, and install bespoke internal signage to provide a professional finish to their freshly refurbished space.

Following the renovation, HHIB sought high-quality, eye-catching internal signs to elevate their new space and reinforce their brand identity and values.
Our team in Penrith handled the production of all signage elements. The logo was crafted using 10mm clear acrylic, allowing the letters and logo elements to project from the wall, creating a strong visual impact. The acrylic elements were precision-cut in-house using our CNC router and then finished with a satin spray paint, carefully colour-matched to HHIB's brand colours.
The showstopper of the project is the shield, which prominently displays the company's values and mission. To create this sign, we skilfully combined three layers of built-up acrylic, following the same finishing process as the letters. This technique provides depth, establishing a clear focal point in the area.
In addition, we produced meeting room signs, consisting of 10mm polished acrylic complete with printed branding.
The interior signs were expertly installed by our signs team at the Carlisle office ahead of the office reopening.
Following the office's reopening, a photography session took place with the aim of showcasing the new space and highlighting the dedicated team behind the company. The signs became a focal point of the photos, which went on to be used across the new website and other marketing materials.
Thanks to their unique design, the depth created by the layered acrylic shield, and the lettering, they truly made the space stand out, becoming an integral part of the office's visual identity. The interior signs effectively reflect HHIB's commitment to quality and attention to detail.
