The Client
Longmoor Head Bed & Breakfast is situated in the village of Ennerdale on the western edge of the Lake District. This grade II listed farm hosts luxurious accommodation with many traditional features such as cobbled yards, stop-chamfered beams and slate flooring.
Longmoor Head is a working farm dedicated to wildlife conservation; managing the common are their small herd of rare breed beef shorthorn cattle. The common is a haven for wildlife, many species of butterfly, red crested newts, deer, barn owls and red squirrels have all returned.
The Bed & Breakfast needed a website to promote the business, allow online booking, and to highlight the conservation work carried out in the area.
Our expert development team produced a site build on our bespoke CMS system, optimised for page speed to help boost both user experience and in turn, conversion rate. Further to this, we also implemented a third party booking system onto the site, accessed via the Bed & Breakfast category and linked successfully to the site.
We also added an online enquiry form, enabling users to contact the owners, and the information provided is saved in the CMS and emailed to the administrator for security. The site uses high quality imagery throughout, showcasing the rooms and surrounding area to prospective visitors.
