THE LAKE DISTRICT STORY EXHIBITION – Brockhole on Windermere

9 March, 2020

We are delighted to have worked closely with Lake District National Park and their partners to play a part in helping create the new Lake District Story Exhibition at Brockhole on Windermere which opened to the public recently after a complete refurbish.

With a brief to work alongside designers Mountain Creative to produce an interactive, environmentally sound and sustainable exhibition space we met the challenge by stretching our imagination and experience, and utilising many techniques within our wide format and signage department.

The panels include cut outs and other interactive elements for visitors to enjoy and have been produced using a reconstituted and recyclable MDF material – well we are not the Best Green Ethical Business in Cumbria for nothing you know!

The exhibition tells the story of the Lake District from how the area was formed millions of years ago right through to the granting of UNESCO World Heritage Site status and what that means for visitors and those of us who live in this wonderful area.
